fairy tales and fantasy Hello! I was looking up on all the formula one drivers and I realise Nick Heidfeld looks quite cute.  Edit  Jenson Button too.  This is Alonso in Renault. I prefer this car to his present one.  And this is Kimi Raikkonen in Ferrari. I used to dislike Kimi Raikkonen cos he was from McLaren (and he was Alonso's rival) Anyway, I just got off the phone with goodfriend! We talked for an hour or so. And we're going to Starbucks tmr to study and I'm sure we will study. (I have to.) haha! Today was an average day. School's the same, I guess. I might post again tmr if I have the time (and mood). You can't live in a castle far away hahaha I think I sound like some angry crazy Massa fan ytd. (I was angry.) But the anger has simmered though I still feel resentful towards the mechanic. Ah well. Jess Loi's really angry and I thought she was going to look for the mechanic and kill him right there last night. (I exaggerate at times.) I bet Venetia's angry too. She bought a Ferrari flag the day before at the race for 70 bucks and Nick and I almost wanted to buy one. But we were more sensible than impulsive. I bet Alonso, Raikkonen, Massa and all have already left. Neeeeeeeeeehmind, I'll catch F1 next weekend again. Its the Japan Grand Prix and I hope Alonso gets at least a podium position again. hahah. Enough of Formula One! Emath paper today was alright considering I did last minute study and my emath is really quite bad. Paper one was relatively easy but paper two made my morale drop a whole lot. Ng Jiayi drew a straight line graph instead of a curve because the question said, "the robot moved in a straight line." Woah Jiayi... Lit on the other hand was killer. Ng Jiayi said she gave up 15 minutes before the paper ends. I just crapped my way through and I hope I pass. Unseen was crap. Really. Whoever has a name like Waverly. Everyone thought the question was referring to the place - Waverly. Anyway, 4 papers down and 5 to go. Social Studies lesson today was cancelled so I went Sembawang to study with Eunice and Gabrielle. Fernando Alonso :) Ferrari's a goner for tonight's race and I'm really angry.
The others are not worth mentioning. They got their position cos of Piquet's crash. Rosberg included. Massa lost his championship points all thanks to THE FERRARI MECHANIC. (Breathes in) Plus Raikkonen crashed in the last 5 rounds. Last 5 rounds! The race is already ending and he crashed. Crashed. Crashed. i tried to fly; 9:56 PM Formula One now and I'm so angry I must blog about this. Massa wasted a good half a minute waiting for the ferrari mechanics to pluck the fuel hose out of his car. The green light was on, IT WAS ON. What's wrong with the mechanics! And now he's last. Last. First to Last. So much for thinking Ferrari mechanics were good. Argh. >:/ This is infuriating. And now he's been given a drive through penalty. WHAT IS WRONGGGGGGGGG. (Breathes in) But on a brighter note, Alonso's fifth. And he needs to go through a 10 seconds penalty. Okay, I'm still angry. Formula One I just have to blog about this. Have to. Alonso got first for practise and beats Lewis Hamilton (who gets second)! WHOA YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. He's best. He clinched first in the last few minutes of practise session. That's Alonso, really. I hope Massa and Alonso gets top 5 position for tmr's qualifying and for sunday's race. Anyway, everyone should watch sunday's race and see how they work as a team. The mechanics and the driver. F1 really is all about teamwork. I loved it when the driver drives into pit and the mechanics get to work. Thats where you see all the teamwork and action. Watch it! Alonso and Massa! I never liked McLaren. i tried to fly; 11:06 PM like a rocket it takes off Hello Blog! School's really draining the life out of everyone. Everyone's getting all frustrated and angsty. Exam pressures have sitted in since long ago and everyone's coping with it someway or another. Read loi's post and I agree with her. Everyone is just preoccupied with their own studies. It seems as though its a fight for survival and you only have yourself to care about. Be selfish or lose it. It disgust me. But then again, everyone has a right to be selfish. They want their As, they want their certs, they want their high flyer jobs and good pay. Well, there's nothing wrong with that. That's just what everyone in school is aiming for, isnt it? It has became a universal goal for students, for everyone. It's not your aim, his aim or her aim. It's everyone's. Everyone's fighting for that one job. Society sees your results. The As are all that matter, right? They're not going to care if you flunk, they had to pass and that's enough. You really cannot blame anyone for being selfish, they are just too busy to care. Too afraid to care. It's really quite true that nothing matters in Singapore but your results. From the most quiet girl in class to the noisiest and most playful, they all want beuatiful certs. No one says it out. But you know, you can feel it. The tension is there. Exams are here already and no one's being a couch potato. They cant afford to, can they? School's like that, I guess. Take a deep breath and go on. No one can afford to stop. But I believe there's more to just getting into hwa chong, there's more than just getting into NUS, there's more than getting all As and a good job. I live for a higher purpose and everything's secondary. But it all still stands as something important. It always is and will always be. For everyone. Loi's Chinese final year today was relatively ok. Some parts of comprehension were quite tough plus my eyelids were really heavy and I spend 10 minutes (around there) reading one boring passage about Singapore being a civilised society or something like that. I directly translated wen ming and I think it means civilised? Does it? Anyway, went Tiong Bahru with Ng Jiayi after that. And I must say we earned. Only she knows why. I had a wonderful follow up with jamie chong. It was good. Simple and really good. But it was one of the longest, or perhaps the longest, follow up ever. I pray she learns something today. :) Went home with Xinyi and it was really funny. Hahaha. I can't help but laugh, Xinyi. She just told me Abigail is coming tmr and that's awesome. SJC is gonna burst forth. I'm excited for them. Zone F service tmr and I know it's gonna be awesome. Today was great, zone f service was great, airport with zone f was great too. :) I just read through (almost) all my posts. And I think some are really funny and not to mention, stupid. I really can't imagine how jiaxin, gabrielle and I were so super nonsensical and the amount of rubbish we did in the past. The times when gabrielle and I were still struggling with our integrations and we were so free. Those times were really fun. I still remembered the many stayovers and late night (super long) conversations we had. We had a record of 5 hours, straight. The times where we talked about anything everything we could. Those times were good. I really love them. They're the friends that I'm gonna run this race with and I'm really glad to. I had a great day. where no one knows my name Hello Blog! :D CEG at Lynette's house was awesome! We were so noisy when we walked to Lynette's house I bet the neighbours all knew we were there. We celebrate Pris Poon's birthday and yay, its your birthday today! Xinyi had a really cute name tag. Yeah, Nancy Paddocks (is it?)! Rushed home for tuition and I'm glad I reached home just on time. Tuitions are ze worse. Tuition again tomorrow, and its a 3 hour marathon one. Poofff. D: Talked to Xinyi on msn for a bit and the both of us went offline to do our Quiet Time. :) That marks my day. arms of forever Weekends was great! Zone F service on Saturday was awesome. Pastor Lia preached on Faith and it was good! Faith leaks through the things we say and what we think so watch what you say and think! Philippians 4:8! Pastor Lia have been talking about faith a lot and it just shows how faith is so important. Pastor How and Pastor Lia had faith and thus we have Heart of God Church today. Now we're gonna have faith for Zone F, for our generation! Didn't stay for the whole of 5-7 service cos of my grandma's 97th birthday (not 90th). Yes she's 97! I was really bored there so I think I won't talk about it... Service today was great! Pastor How preached about the Glory of Virginity. We're going to be a pure and holy generation. One Thing, One Time, One Person, One Lifetime! When flowers gaze at you This is my 99th post. What should I blog about for my 100th post? Anyway! I went to church yesterday with the SJC girls plus Qianhui. We intended to study, really. But Desiree wanted to buy food/walk around. (She never intended to study at all!) So we went down and bought subway. (OFFER.) Ate, went up and we still didnt study. Maybe only Seina, Xinyi and Jiayi managed to study. D: Sent Qianhui off together with Chong Jamie. And Jamie accepted my challenge to talk softly (like a girl) for at least 10 minutes. It was really funny. Jamie's just so used to talking loudly. Alright. That was yesterday. Today wasn't exactly the most wonderful day, so... School ended at a crazy time of 5.40pm. Lessons all the way. It was madness! Plus lessons today was a total bore! Reap was okay. A bit pointless I guess. Since we were playing more. (Cos of Natalie). My classes' attendance have been averaging low thirties recently. (7 absentees today, and I'm proud to say I'm not one of them!) Maybe I should pray that my class breaks through. Then I have to too. Good Day It's Sunday night. Yesterday was awesome. Attempted to study with Nicole at National Library. To no avail. Met Li en and Pris Poon at Bugis and we headed down to church. Service was awesome! Pastor How preached about moments and opportunities and it was great. Dinner with everyone was really funny! Pauline's really funny! Like really really funny! Everything she does makes me want to laugh. Homed with Esther, Amy and Pris Tan after that. Today. Prayer meeting was good. Service was better. You somehow receive more when you hear a sermon twice. With problems comes opportunities. and with opportunites comes moments, then momentum and lastly movement! K, its just awesome. We went cozycot after that and did waxing there. I still have my wax. It's like this huge patch. Anyway, took a whole lot of free gifts home and man. We looked like a bunch of aunties, even the guys. Took the train to amk with Esther and we went amk hub to walk around. Bought some ice thingy and sat on the stairs to eat. Talked for awhile then we left. I'm home now. There's school tmr and I'm dreading it. I'm not looking forward to anything in school at all. Gah. HEARTFEST '08! Heartfest! Heartfest was really fun! Was in the same group as Pris Poon, Pris Chiang, Li En, Irene, Esther.P and Valencia. Our cheer was really unglam and aunty. Our group kept playing the water games downstairs because we wanted to win. Haha! We lost to this group twice at the start! And our group is really good at the toilet paper game. We hid our toilet paper in Li en's back pants pocket and it's always dry. hahaha! I had a great time with everyone! Service was great. Dominic preached and it was good. Our christian walk is really just like a race. And it's so awesome running this race with amazing friends. :) Had dinner with F4! Michelle and Abigale kept insisting that they were sisters. hahah! Ya la, we're all sisters! Oh and I think Seina's a really cool name! Seina Kunni. She's jap and it's so cool. They all enjoyed themselves and so did I! Accompanied Helene with Xinyi and Jiayi to look for her brother. Homed with Xinyi and Jiayi after that! Gabrielle came over to my house that day and she slapped me in her sleep. First post of the week! Chalet was awesome. The place is huge and just a little scary. But when you have so many people living there, it isn't that scary already. The location of the chalet is (very) deserted. We cleaned up on day one and the guys made a mess out of the first floor. They practically used everything they could find in the kitchen and filled it with water. (Rice cooker, wok and so on.) The girls stayed upstairs cos it was safer there. We did our QT and whoa, it was awesome! Heart to Heart with Dominic in the night was beyond awesome. We snacked a little at night and attempted to sleep. But Xiao Jiao and Serene just wouldn't let us sleep. Ended up sleeping really really really late. Woke up at 6.20 and prepared for school with Josephine. In the end, a whole bunch of us sat in the corridors and contemplated on whether we should go school or not. (We were all changed already.) We sat there till 8 and decided not to go cos we were already late. Some people left for school while Josephine, Jason and I went to study. Then people woke up, breakfast, then homed with jeanie. Baked cookies at Jamie Chong's house! The cookies turned out really nice all thanks to Eli. HAHHA. We attempted to play Cluedo but gave up halfway everyone was too curious and wanted to know who the murderer was. Gabrielle, Eunice and Eli left first so Xinyi, Jamie, Jiayi and I went to the supermarket. Bought some stuff and we went back and wanted to study. Didn't in the end cos we just kept talking. I love talking to all of them! :D Went home with Xinyi and Jiayi in their Dad's car. Heartfest in a few hours time! :) i tried to fly; 9:30 AM |
